POGGI – Anthony Robert Bob Poggi age 73 of Grand Rapids went to be with the Lord in the loving presence of his family June 3 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Santa Poggi; siblings Mary DiCesare Adolph Del Raso Josephine Vassar Andy Poggi Ted Poggi Theresa Sella Louie Poggi and Richie Poggi. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Nancy A. Poggi; children Steve (Susan) Poggi Brad (Brenda) Poggi Dave (Joni) Poggi Lisa Poggi(Don Anderson), Katie (Jeff) Eynon Chris (soon to be wife Cecilia); grandchildren Sarah Ella Finn Daniel David Nicole Gianni Marco Drew Jessica Nicholas and Jack; sister Lucille Kazma; brother Ray Poggi; sister-in-law Edith Del Raso. Bob was a wonderful husband father grandfather and friend. His patience sense of honor and quiet humor will be greatly missed. Bob loved his family many friends golf and spending time at Elk Lake and Bonita Springs. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday 1:00 PM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 1449 Wilcox Park Dr. SE Rev. James A. Chelich presiding. Visitation 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Vigil service 8:00 PM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
