Abraham ‘Abe’ DeHaan, age 92 of Lowell, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Son of Minnie and Ben, brother to John, Bernard and Helen, all deceased. He is survived by nieces, Helen (Michael) Grant, Barbara (Ken) Bazan; nephews, Jeff VerVeer and Bill (Dawn) Braman. Lifelong resident of Lowell, Abe was a gentle, quiet and hard working man. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell. Pastor Rod Galindo officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a memorial, Abe would appreciate donations be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan, 3077 Wilson Drive NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534.
