GRANT – Alexander Haswell Grant (Sandy) died May 8 2008 in Muskegon’s Mercy Hospital. He was the husband of Janet Sue. Born on December 30 1926 to Allegra and Haswell in Bartlesville Oklahoma. Brother of Garrett deceased William (Janet), and John (Janet); Father of Steven whose wife is Anne and children Eva and Alec and of Douglas whose children are Avery and Skylar. Sandy graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in 1944 and from Iowa State University with a degree in architectural engineering. He practiced in the Grand Rapids area. He served in the U.S. Navy in the V-12 program in WWII. Sandy was an active man enjoying family nature bridge and sports. Service will be May 13th at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Road S.E., Grand Rapids. Visitation at 12 noon service at 1 pm. Memorials to a charity of your choice.
