HERINGTON Alice Herington aged 77 passed away unexpectedly December 5 2010 in Vero Beach Florida. Alice lived a full and meaningful life. She is survived by her children Jillayne DeYoung (Richard Ayer), Jim (Julia) DeYoung and Janis (Ignacio) Arreola; grandchildren Jay Richards Paige DeYoung Megan Arreola and Janelle Arreola. She is also survived by her brother Adrian (Carol) Bruininks; nieces Debbie and Betty; nephew; John and sister in law Pat Miltz. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Herington and parents Marinus and Johanna Bruininks. Alice was passionate about everything in life. Her friends family and golf were a big part of that. She will be missed beyond words. The family will greet relatives and friends on December 11 from Noon to 1:00 PM at OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home 3980 Cascade Rd., Grand Rapids MI. A brief memorial service and a time of sharing will take place at 1:00 PM.
