BENEDICT – Andrew Charles Benedict age 21 of Lowell Highmarked in to Heaven on his Skidoo Summitt on February 19. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Robert and Pauline Eskes and Maxine Halladay; and grandparents Ronald and Verla Carey. He is survived by his parents Ray and Ronda Benedict; sister Jacquelyn; his love and soul mate Nicole Cooper of Niles; grandparents Art and Gladys Benedict; great-grandfather Leon Halladay; aunts and uncles Lorrie and John Capen Russ and Deb Benedict Mary Benedict Jenny Teachout Shela Carey-Thomson James and Eva Carey Bob Barnes; many extended aunts uncles cousins and friends. Andrew was blessed to have a second set of parents Joe and Kim Eckelstafer. Andrew is a 2004 graduate of Lowell High School and was set to graduate from CMU in May with a degree in accounting. He was employed at Rogers Athletic in Clare MI. Andrew loved sharing his life with Nicole friends and family. He loved camping trips with the entire family especially spending time with his little cousins. His favorite vacation was snowmobiling in the mountains. In the summer months he loved playing softball with his sister Dad and Grandpa. He also enjoyed a good game of beer pong. In his giving spirit his organs will live on in others thru Gift of Life. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. February 24th at Ada Bible Church 8899 Cascade Rd. SE with Rev. Phil Niekerk officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. evening and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home 305 N. Hudson St., Lowell.
