Ann Clark (Holman) Schroeter at the age of 71 of Ada, was called home to be with Jesus on Saturday August 8, 2020. She was born in Detroit on September 4, 1948 to William Claude Holman and Norine Olive (Clark) Holman. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gilbert Charles Schroeter; children, Brian Schroeter, Timothy (Rachel) Schroeter; sister, Judy (Terry) Waple; grandchildren, Noah & Ella. In 2008, Ann retired from Forest Hills Northern H.S. after 24 years working as a registrar. She was well liked by everyone she met or worked with through her life. Ann always made any gathering joyful and her laugh was contagious. One of her many likes was spending time with the grandchildren and doing crafts with them. Her mother was a big part of her life and since her father’s death in 1978, she cherished her trips to see her mom in Central Lake and spending time with her. Her love of Christ was apparent to all who knew her. Her favorite bible verse was Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.” Her likes were many and her love for others, especially her boys, was always a priority. Her love of Christ was taken with her to Heaven. Family will have services at St. Matthew Lutheran Church at a later date.

  11. Annie was one of the most wonderful people I have known. I worked with her at Northern High, and her laugh was certainly contagious. She always made time for everyone and was always kind and welcoming. She was also great at her job! She often shared stories of Gil and her boys. Her love for them was so obvious and clearly the most important thing in her life. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  12. When I think of Annie I think of FHC soccer. She and I held hands or grabbed each other’s arms for years sitting in the stands cheering on the team and our own boys. For several years we ran the soccer concession stand together and laughed ourselves silly. What a fun person to be around! I am so lucky that she was my friend.

  13. You blessed our family with your love and kindness and were are eternally grateful. You will be missed but never forgotten ! Praying for Uncle Gil, Brian, Tim, Rachel, Noah and Ella. Also praying for her sister, my mom.
    Love Jeff, Michelle and family
