Anna Mae Hill age 90 of Grand Rapids passed away April 30 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Hill and son Bob Hill. She is survived by her children Maureen (Tom) Herman Jane (Dan) Lennon Jim (Jackie) Hill Nancy (Michael) Hagan; daughter-in-law Lynne Hill; 14 grandchildren Anne Marie Herman Jeremy Bekah Cam and Bethany Hill Matt and Katherine Lennon Kyle Jessica Sarah and Dan Hill Sean Kevin and Ryan Hagan; 2 great-grandchildren Lily Hill and Olivia Lemke; brother Giles Hefferan; sister-in-law Clara Rewa and several nieces and nephews. Anna Mae retired in 1984 from Old Kent Bank after 17 years of service. She was a faithful member of Blessed Sacrament Church for 52 years. Anna Mae will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife mother grandmother and cherished friend. She was affectionately known as Dommie by her grandchildren and as the cookie lady by many others. Anna Mae constantly spread her love with delicious treats. The family would like to thank the sisters and staff at St. Anns Home for their loving and compassionate care of Anna Mae. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church Rev. George Darling presiding. Interment St. Patricks Cemetery Parnell. Rosary will be recited 7:00 PM. Visitation will be 4-7 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE and 10 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church.
