Anne Malaney, age 90 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 27, 2014. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Livia Emmett; great grandson, Kyle Garcia; and 8 siblings. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Charles; children, Michael (Maryann) Malaney, Mary Anne (David) Dawson, Peter (MaryJo) Malaney, Ellen (Patrick) Hillary, Melissa (Jay) Shilliday, Meg (Mike) Novy; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle, 2750 Burton Street S.E., Grand Rapids. Msgr. Ernest P. Schneider presiding. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4-7:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
