Arlene Ruth Sytsma, age 82 of Lowell, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Theodore “Ted” Sytsma; children, Amy (Darryl) McGregor, Jodi (David) Nelson; grandchildren, Austin (Beth) McGregor, Logan McGregor, Keaton (Ivory Hoang) McGregor, Morgan (Chris) Markowski, Hunter Nelson; great-grandchildren, Addison McGregor, Owen, and Lily Markowski; sister-in-law, Joann (Joe) Hinton; and several nieces and nephews. She was longtime member of New Community Church. Arlene enjoyed spending time at Heartland RV Resort with her dear friend, Donna Jenkins, along with many others. She had a soft spot for animals. Above all Arlene loved spending time with her family and cherished the time she spent with her grandkids. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Our family is saddened to hear the news of Arlene’s passing. She was a dear and caring neighbor and always a joy to talk to❤️
She often cared for our cat, JUNIE, who adored her as much as we did.
