  1. I have been blessed to have known this “gentle” man for over 50 years. His smile was always warm and sincere! His laugh was contagious and his heart was big. He suffered too long and he deserved this peace. May he rest now and know how much he was and is and always will be loved by anyone who knew him. My heartfelt grief for his family in his absence because there will now be a big void.

  2. Always a ‘Gentle’Man and a pleasure to be near. A smile that could melt ice. Many evenings spent at music festivals where love and friendship flowed easily. Where night skies were embraced and music filled our hearts. A person like Army made these events even more special with his unlimited kindness and laughter that filled the air. Travel well dear friend until our paths cross again in that great horizon. Peace and love to all whose life was touched by this beautiful soul…..

  3. I remember Mr. LaBine as that nice Dad that took us out for breakfast when he visited Amber at college. He would drive all the way up north so Amber would get home safe. He was a happy guy that made you feel comfortable and welcome when you came to his house. He took in Morgan, that poor dog lived in a sorority house as a pup, and he made Morgan the best Dog! My friend Amber has always talked about her Dad like he was the best Dad in the whole world because he was, he loved unconditionally. I’m sorry for his family’s loss.
