Liga Kazlovskis, age 83 passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Voldemars and Anna Freide and her sister Gundega Putans. Liga is survived by her husband of 62 years Arturs Kazlovskis; her sister Arija Freide , her daughters Maira (Tim) Hoffman and Andra (Don) Bryant and her grandchildren Mitch (Emma Mawby) Bryant, Katrina, Marissa and Cassie Hoffman. Family always came first to Liga. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, shelling and hummingbirds and was particularly proud of the hole-in-one she achieved on September 2, 2003 at Crystal Mountain. Family will meet with friends and relatives on Monday at January 13 from 3-6 PM at O’Brien Eggebeen Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids. A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2530 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 2pm.
