Barbara Ann Priest Hellberg age 89 matriarch of the family of Tarpon Springs FL formerly of Grand Rapids passed away April 1 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Eldred O. Hellberg in 2000; sister Virginia Hanlon and brother Gordon Priest. Beloved mother grandmother and sister she is survived by her children Bette Jackson of Tampa Fl Carolyn VanderLaan and spouse James of Ada MI Judy Sikkema of Tarpon Springs Fl Barbara Reed and spouse Mark of Tarpon Springs Fl and Gordon Hellberg and spouse Julie of Spring Lake MI; sisters Bette Corbin of Eustis Fl and Joan Robertson of Huntsville AL; 10 grandchildren 7 great grand children and 1 great great grand child. Barbara had resided in Tarpon Springs FL with her daughters and son-in-law. She was a retiree of GM with over 25 years of service and had graduated from schools in Mancelona MI. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE Rev. Leonard Sudlik of St. Robert of Newminster Church officiating. Entombment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
