AYERS – Barbara Dianne Bartlett Ayers age 63 of Cascade made her journey to be with the Lord January 20 2009. She is survived by her husband of 40 years William; sons Gregory of Chicago Geoffrey and Ryan both of Grand Rapids; mother Helen Bartlett of Warren OH; brother Rodger (Dianna) Bartlett of Warren OH; sisters-in-law Susan (Bill) Bolton and Grace Janet (Ray) Henshaw; also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Bartlett and brother Dennis Bartlett. Barbara received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Communications from Aquinas College. She was a certified MSU Master Gardener a member of the Kent Garden Club and a former member of the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus. Barbaras love and passion was gardening antiquing and English literature. Memorial services will be at St. Lukes Lutheran Church 3215 4 Mile NE Pastor Frank Rothfuss officiating. Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made online to the Breast Cancer 3-Day benefiting Susan G.
