Barbara Jean Kepler (nee Patin), age 75 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was preceded in death by the love of her life husband Tom; step-son Tom Kepler Jr.; parents Gus and Mary Patin; siblings MaryAnn Joyner, Carl and Paul Patin; special friend Marlene Byrne; and special niece Debbi Joyner. She is survived by her step-children David Kepler, Susan (Mike) Grusell; grandsons Joshua, Zackary; sister-in-law Faye Patin; many cousins especially Betty Mongold, Dorothy Smith; several nieces and nephews; special friends Joanna Strom, and Pat Byrne and his family. Barb spent her entire working career at Dun and Bradstreet. She was a long time member of Fountain Street Church and enjoyed her several years volunteering at Frederik Meijer Gardens. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 25, 11:00 a.m. at Fountain Street Church, 24 Fountain Street N.E., Grand Rapids. The Rev. Dr. W. Frederick Wooden officiating. The family will meet with friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church.
