Feldpausch, Barry, Grand Rapids, age 83, completed his courageous battle with cancer and went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 7, 2019. He valiantly offered up his suffering as Jesus did for us. Barry was born in Grand Rapids to Leo and Ila (Kraus) Feldpausch. He graduated from Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School and earned his BA degree from Michigan State University, where he also received his ROTC commission as Second Lieutenant. He married Jeanne Rappleyea after graduating from MSU and served in the US Air Force for nine years. After leaving the Air Force, his family moved back to Grand Rapids where he was as an investment broker. Later, he worked at Budres Lumber Company. He was the proud father of nine children. His passions in life were his Catholic faith, his family, and fighting the evil of abortion by praying at the local abortion clinic. He enjoyed boating with his family and had a life-long interest in learning and performing magic. He was a faithful parishioner at St. Isidore Catholic Church. He will be lovingly remembered for his strong Catholic faith, his kind, generous and pleasant nature.  He was preceded in death (ALS) by his eldest son, Stephen. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeanne, children Elizabeth (Jim) Pfaller, Michael (Dawna) Feldpausch, Francis (Marielena) Feldpausch, Tom (Ann) Feldpausch, Anne (Doug) Klein, Dan (Heidi) Feldpausch, Paul (Elizabeth) Feldpausch, Mary (Joseph) MacKeller, sister Sandra (Jim) Goran, 49 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
