Bastian “Buzz” F. VanIterson, age 76 of Cascade, went to be with his Lord Friday, October 16, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Claudina; and brother, Richard. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Lois; children, Michelle Behrens, John (Beth) VanIterson, Cary (Dawn) VanIterson, brother, Peter VanIterson; sister, Millie Berghoef; sisters-in-law, Betty (Ray) Berens, Angie (Joel) Ploegstra, Harriet (Chuck) Halladay; brother-in-law, Peter (Barb) Pluger; grandchildren, Thomas “TJ”, Michael and Rebekah Behrens, Kyle and Reid VanIterson. Buzz was a charter member of Thornapple Community Church RCA. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Thornapple Community Church, 3260 Thornapple River Dr. SE, Grand Rapids. Rev. Paul Wesselink and Rev. Tim Dieffenbach officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends Tuesday 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd.
