Beverly Ann Steiss-Ridenour, age 84 of Saranac, formerly of Haslett, entered into Heaven late Saturday, November 24, 2012. Beverly was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, April 25, 1928 the second of five children born to Maurice Steiss and Violet Happel-Steiss. Her family moved to Lansing, Michigan and there she met her future husband, Robert Ridenour, at Michigan Millers Insurance Company. Beverly spent many years working for the Haslett school district, mostly in the elementary library. Beverly and Robert had one daughter Kristy and two grandchildren Kolton and Katie. Beverly is preceded by her husband, Robert; precious granddaughter, Katie; sister, Bonnie, her husband Walter Mansfield, and their granddaughter BonnieLace; brother, Maurice Steiss; brothers-in-law, Arthur Krueger and Edward Vogel. Surviving are her daughter, Kristy (Keith) Bashore; beloved grandson, Kolton; sisters, Diane Krueger, Mildred Vogel; sister-in-law, Grace Steiss; Kristy’s bonus sister, Lori Davis Bashore; Kristy’s bonus mother and Beverly’s dear friend, Alyce Heyboer; also many nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 8, 11:00 a.m. at South Boston Bible Church, 6958 Kyser Rd., Lowell. Pastor Ron Tuinstra officiating.
