Bonnie Quarandillo, 76, passed away in Grand Rapids Michigan on July 20, 2021.  Bonnie was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan.  She was the daughter of Carl & Doris Malik. She attended Eastern Michigan University and achieved both her undergraduate and graduate degree in education.

She worked for many years in Kent County ISD as a teacher consultant.  She touched many students lives during the years and was very proud of both her work and her students’ accomplishments.

Bonnie was an independent, self-confident woman and she touched many lives along the way.  She loved to garden and work with her hands.  She was a jack of all trades and could accomplish most anything she put her mind to.  She was also a huge animal lover, and her world was enhanced by her fur babies.

She is survived by her two sisters, Toni, and Janet.  As well as by numerous friends, colleagues and neighbors who will miss her.

Bonnies’ remains will be interred, per her wishes, in the family plot at Cadillac Memorial Garden in Westland Michigan.

In lieu of a memorial service/flowers, please make donations to the Humane Society of West Michigan, 3077 Wilson NW Grand Rapids, MI 49534 or online at hswestmi.org

  1. Bonnie was instrumental in making me the woman I am today. Thank you Bonnie for being my angel. I will forever carry you in my heart.

  2. Bonnie was a former neighbor of mine. I’m shocked and so very sorry for all our loss.

  3. We were neighbors for many years. Bonnie was always so friendly and helpful. She even took my dog to her vet when my dog was having an Addison’s episode and I was at work. Without Bonnie’s thoughtfulness, my dog would have died that day. Bonnie will be missed!

  4. I’m so sorry you are gone You we’re truly instrumental in getting me through school. I’m not sure I would have made it without her. I do regret not getting in contact with her in the past 40 yrs but she will always have a place in my ❤️ God Bless you Toni and Janet May she Rest In Peace
