Brett Michael Burkhardt, age 50 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Kari; children, Carleigh, Lauren and Collin Burkhardt; mother, Mary Burkhardt; sister, Jill Burkhardt; mother and father-in-law, Paul and Ruth Kalmink. Brett owned and operated Blast Master, Inc. and was a member of the Grand Valley Corvette Club. Funeral services will be Thursday 1:00 PM at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Pastor Les Wiseman, officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation Wednesday 4-7 PM.
