CARL (KARL) KUSMIERSKI

Carl (Karl) Kusmierski, age 71, of Cascade, passed away May 16, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Caroline; his brothers, Ray and Chet; and his father-in-law, Foster Bishop.  He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beth; sons, Joe and Chris, beautiful daughter-in-law, Chantal; three awesome granddaughters, Christina, Caleigh and Chloe; brothers, Eugene (Dorothy) and Tom (Kathy); mother-in-law, Flora Bishop; sister-in-law, Kris (Nel); brothers-in-law, Brian (Dana) and Phil; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Karl worked for Emery Worldwide for 45 years. He was an avid bow hunter and fisherman, and a wonderful dad and grandpa. He and his hunting buddies, Chris, Bob, Terry, Wally and LeRoy had a lot of fun up at the cabin. We would like to thank his lifelong buddy, Terry O’Rourke, for staying right with Karl through his long journey with cancer and to Cathy, Sue, Gail, Marcia, LaRae, Rita, Jeannie, Anazil, Christina and Dana for all the love, kindness and support they have given Karl in many different ways. Also, to the loving staff at Green Acres in Lowell for the wonderful care they gave Karl. To Hospice of Michigan, thank you Holly and Sue. A Celebration of Karl’s life will be held on Tuesday May 22 at Cascade Christian Church, 2829 Thornapple River Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 with food and fellowship from 4-7 PM.
