HOPKINS Carol Meredith Hopkins age 87 of Grand Rapids ended her journey on this earth to be with her Lord and Savior June 3 2010. She was preceded in death by her son Gary Lee Hopkins. She is survived by her children Janice Bassler Billy Hopkins Gerald Hopkins Wanda Morris Karen Hopkins-Mutchler Dawn (Ron) Ducharme; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carol lived her life with incredible strength a positive strong spirit and endurance despite her physical limitations from a major stroke she suffered 10 years ago. She has been an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
