MACINNESS Carroll Clark MacInness aged 87 of Cascade passed away December 2 2011. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Barbara; children Brian MacInness Jeri MacInness Kevin MacInness and Brett (Diane) MacInness; brother Roger (Kay) MacInness; grandchildren Nicole (Peter) Hay Remo Celis Delaney MacInness Shannon Kohlmeier Rain (Scott) Almoney and three great-grandchildren. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II. He played the saxophone professionally was the first band director at Forest Hills High School was quality control manager at Gibson Guitar Company then vice president of Electrical Assembles and finished his career as band director at Comstock Park High School. His favorite pastime was sailing the Great Lakes but the most important thing in his life was his wife and family. Memorial services will be Saturday December 17 at at Cascade Christian Church 2829 Thornapple River Dr. SE Pastor Jill Forton officiating. Interment Cascade Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kyle Patterson Fund or the Jonathon Gaylord Scholarship Fund of Cascade Christian Church.
