HOBBS Charles Herbert Hobbs age 85 of Alto and Harrison passed away December 25 2011. Charles went to be with his loving Lord and Savior and wife of 60 years Helen L.; parents Leslie and Leona; and sister Elaine (Reuben) Neargarth. He is survived by his children Laurel (Ron) Hayward Charles M. (Renay) Hobbs Neil Hobbs Patrick (Roberta) Hobbs; brother Howard (Helen M.) Hobbs; sisters Eleanor Dintaman Eloise Courter Evelyn (Bill) Courter Estelle (Harvey) Stark; brothers-in-law Roland (Beverly) Clark David (Loralynn) Clark; sister-in-law Mary (Gary) Hull; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren. Charles was a charter member of the Alto American Legion and very involved with his community. He enjoyed hunting fishing woodworking and spending time with his family. Funeral service will be held at Alaska Baptist Church 7240 68th Street Caledonia MI 493616. John Speck officiating. Visitation 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 p.m. at Roth-Gerst Chapel 305 N. Hudson Lowell.
