Charles Robert Hendrickson

Hendrickson , Charles (Charlie) Robert of Grand Rapids, MI Charles (Charlie) Robert Hendrickson, 21, was called Home on November 28th, 2016. He graduated from IHM, Catholic Central and was attending Western Michigan University. While at CC, he was an All Conference and All State swimmer. He loved cheering for the University of Michigan and The New England Patriots. Chuckles was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend whose warm heart, smile and charisma touched all those who were fortunate enough to know him. Whether it was spending time with family or hanging out with friends, Charlie always strove to make everyone feel welcome and accepted. His empathy and passion for life were just a few of the many gifts that Charlie was able to share during his short time on earth. Charlie will be dearly missed by all, but he will live on in our hearts and in the wonderful memories that he graced us with. Charlie is predeceased by his beloved Uncle Steve Mohan. He is survived by his loving parents, Mary and John Hendrickson, his siblings Caitlyn and Kevin Wood, Moira and Jeff Saunders (John David and Harper Grace), and Patrick and Roza Hendrickson, Grandparents Joan and Robert Hendrickson and Charles David and Elizabeth Mohan as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Also, his favorite family dogs Zooey, Bear, and a future Husky named Sam. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 2nd from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm with a Rosary at 7pm. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 11am. Both services will take place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 1951 Plymouth Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506.
