MURPHY Cheryl Ann Murphy (Peters) of Lowell went peacefully to our Lord on June 8 2010 after defying many odds and fighting bravely for eight years against leukemia. Cheryl was born in Grand Rapids MI on October 31 1955 to Robert and Imogene Peters. She was preceded in death by her daughter Nicole and her father Robert. Cheryl is survived by her mother Imogene of Lowell; daughters Jennifer Murphy of Grand Rapids Michelle (Nolan) Brightman of Holland and Lisa (Mark) Strouse of Lowell; brother Jerry (Mary) Strauss of Lowell and sister Lynn Schroeder of Ventura Ca; grandsons Braeden and Andrew Strouse and grand-daughter Rylee Brightman; and many nieces nephews cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held June 15 at Roth Gerst Funeral Chapel 305 N. Hudson Lowell at with Rev. Leonard Sudlik of St. Robert of Newminster Church officiating. Interment Ada Cemetery. Visitation will be June 14 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Cheryl Murphy Memorial for the grandkids college fund C/O Huntington Bank or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society 1421 E. 12 Mile Rd.
