  1. So very sorry to hear this terrible news. I’ve been a friend of Dan’s since high school. We graduated together from PHS in 1984. He was the class clown and loved by many. Dan was also the best man to my ex-husband in our wedding in 1988. Haven’t seen him since 2010 but talked with him on FB frequently. I’m going to miss you my friend !! Love you Kalyn & God bless !! My prayers to Dan’s family

  5. My condolences to Dan’s family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Dan the last ten years, and I will miss his low sarcastic humor and dry wit very much. He made some situations at work a little more tolerable.

  8. My name is Rick Merrifield. I am Dan’s father’s 1st cousin from Grand Ledge. I worked with Dayrl Sr right after graduating from high school, in i971. I did not know Dan, but it sounds like genitics linked us solidly! The love of the outdoors,(hunting and fishing) and the class clown tag. At 65 years old I’m sad to see our family’s losses. I pray for God’s peace to be with us all!
