David “Dave” Lewis Powell, age 89 of Lowell, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fran. He is survived by his loving partner, Delores Christensen; children, Teri (David) Pembrook, Karen Johnson, Vickie (Kevin) McGraw, Brian (Carol) Christensen; grandchildren, Charles (Sarah) Johnson, Kayla (Jason) Flanders, Tracey (Skyler) Fisk, Sarah Pembrook; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Joslynn, Maxwell Johnson, Otis Flanders, Asher, Noah Fisk; sister, Carmen (Virgil) Roudabush; many brothers and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. Dave was a proud Veteran who served as an M.P. in the Korean War. He loved his kids and grandkids. He was an avid Tigers, Lions, and U of M fan. Dave enjoyed woodworking and made many things for his family and friends. He loved watching westerns and John Wayne. Dave enjoyed casino trips. Visitation will be held, 4-6 PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson St., Lowell, MI 49331. Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Roth-Gerst Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Corey Malone officiating.
