Denise Marie Sebuck, age 51, of Grand Rapids, passed in peace surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Paletta. Denise is survived by her husband, David Sebuck; children, Sara (Donnie) Yoder, Shane, Allison; grandchildren, Hayley Yoder, and expecting Kamden Yoder, and Kaiden Yoder in August; mother, Linda Paletta; in-laws, Larry and Ronnie Sebuck; brothers, Joseph (Deanna Nicholas) Paletta, Joshua (Jacklyn) Paletta; sister, Pamela Schultz; brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Shari) Sebuck; many nieces and nephews as well as the family dog, Hope.

She is the most amazing person we will ever meet in our lives; she is our hero and our rock. Her courage and strength are indescribable. She was surrounded by so many friends and family the last few days…they are only a fraction of all the people and lives she has touched. She was so easy to love with her most beautiful and contagious smile. Her smile radiated in every room she walked into. She was a giver, selfless, kind and so patient. She was sassy and spunky. She never gave up and put her heart into everything she did. She always pushed her family to never give up. She is the best wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend that anyone could ever have in your lifetime. If you have ever crossed paths with her, you know she is a beautiful soul, inside and out.

We will continue to celebrate her for the rest of our lives. She would want that. She would want us to remember all the wonderful memories, to laugh, and to smile when we say her name.

There will be a time to pay your respects between 9:30-10:30, Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Ada Bible Church, 8899 Cascade Rd. SE, Ada, MI 49301. A Celebration of Denise’s life will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Kyle Pierpont officiating. The greatest gift you could give in honor of Denise would be to contribute in the battle against Leukemia by supporting the Be The Match Organization or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.bethematch.org or www.lls.org
