VANLAAN, DORIS MAE, age 90 of Lowell, a prayer warrior, entered into Eternity on Saturday, January 17, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl VanLaan; sister, Jane VanLaan; brother, Jerry Datema; sister-in-law, Jean VanLaan; grandsons, Greg Williams, Matt Craig. She is survived by her children, Pat (Joel) Walker, Barb (John) Williams, Mary (Jim) Craig, Nancy VanLaan, Sue Dykstra, Phil (Becky) VanLaan, Linda VanLaan, Karen (Roger) Onan, Ruth (Jeff) Gesselman; brothers, Phil (Gen) Datema, Jim (Phyllis) Datema, Pete (Nancy) Datema; sisters, Nancy (Jim) Fitzsimmons, Joyce (Royce) Wilcox; sister-in-law, Eleanor Datema; 23 grandchildren; over 40 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 2275 West Main, Lowell, MI 49331. Visitation Monday 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Lowell.
