Dorothy Ann Holwerda, age 84 of Lowell, passed away Thursday, April 29th, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband John Holwerda. Dorothy is survived by her children, Cathleen (Dale) Cooley-Wedow, Judith L. (Steven D.D.S.) Hall, Cynthia S. Begerow, John (Nancy) Holwerda, Margaret (Michael D.V.M) Lampen; grandchildren, Cara Goss, Travis Wedow, Charles S. (Lindsay) Hall, Chelsey L. Hall, Andrew J. Hall, Alison M. (Justin) Corwin, Dale J. (Nikki) Begerow, James D. (Judd Mowbray) Begerow, Travis J. (Katie Brady) Holwerda, Taylor H. (fiancé Nicholas Miller) Holwerda; great-grandchildren, Xochitl Begerow, Jax J. Begerow, Ryleigh R. Begerow, Clare Hall, Levi Corwin, Sebastian Holwerda, Osborne Holwerda, Boone Holwerda, Logan Lampen, Raelynn Mcdowell, Lucas Mcdowell, Audra Goss, River Goss and Jaydee. Dorothy was a graduate of Godwin Heights High School, and homemaker to her loving family. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, and most of all being with family. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday, May 3, 2021 at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Masks and social distancing will be required. A private family graveside will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery.
