Dorothy J. Niles

Dorothy Niles, age 91, of Ada passed away Saturday, January 2^nd, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Niles; daughter, Brenda Anderson; brothers, Joe, Miles, and Bill Fuller; sister, Martha Fuller; and parents, Clarence and Ruby Fuller. Dorothy is survived by her children, Jerry (Nancy) Fuller, Martha (Richard) Gates; son-in-law, Pat Anderson; grandchildren, Michael, Cassy, Shannon, Missy, Theresa, Heather, Jody, Tara, Barb, Heather, and Mark; several great-grandchildren; and brother, Wesley (Emma) Fuller. Dorothy grew up as the only living daughter, with four brothers, therefore she did what the boys did, play basketball, football, and go sledding. She met and married her husband George, and they happily raised their children. Dorothy worked for Holland Home as a cook. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching Gunsmoke, and attending morning music at Spectrum Health. Visitation will be 12-2 PM, Friday, January 8, 2021 at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM at Ada Cemetery, 6340 Grand River Drive Southeast, Ada, MI 49301. Pastor Ken Ford, officiating.
