Douglas Van Spronsen, age 58 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022. He is survived by his children, Amanda (Reid) Wagner, Eric Van Spronsen; grandchildren, Easton, Kooper, Kendall, Addison; girlfriend, Jeanne Larsen; mother, Jackie Van Spronsen; brothers, Dan (Lisa) Van Spronsen, Dale (Kathy) Van Spronsen, Dean (Lori) Van Spronsen; and many nieces and nephews. Doug was an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers. He enjoyed spending time with friends, golfing, bowling, and camping. Doug also like traveling and going to sporting events. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Doug – I’m very sorry to hear of your passing. Although we hadn’t talked in so long, I would wonder how you were doing on many occasions.
You had already been in the door/hardware industry when I first started. A quick friend and resourceful means of help, when ever I needed it; even after we both “left” SA Morman.
You, Tim, Kathy and myself had lots of laughs and tons of fun <3
You have been missed for several years, as we lost touch and will continue to be missed, my friend.
