SMITTER Dzadie Jetti Smitter aged 65 of Grand Rapids passed away August 18 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Val Smitter; her father Alphons Einiks. She is survived by her son John Koval (Smitter); her daughter-in-law Kara Koval; mother Lilija Balodis; sister Heli (William) Christensen; brother Ervins (Diane) Einiks; grandchildren McKenzie Connor and Alec Koval; several nieces and nephews. Jetti owned and operated Smitter Pest Control. Funeral services will be at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE Rev. Ilze Larsen of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
