FRENCH Edgar E. French age 89 of East Grand Rapids died July 1 2011. He was preceded in death by his sons Terry and Rodney and his brother-in-law Donnie Moorhead. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Dorothy; sons Jeff (Diane) French Steve (Nancy) French; 7 grandchildren 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Delores Moorhead and many special nieces and nephews. He was a member of the U.S. Marines during World War II serving in the Pacific the American Legion and the Golden Kiwanis. Edgar was an avid EGR/UofM sports fan and golfer. He enjoyed attending his grandchildrens games. Memorial services at Trinity United Methodist Church. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
