HICKEY – Eileen Ann Hickey aged 81 of Grand Rapids went to be with the Lord on June 14 2008. She was surrounded by her family at home after a short bout with cancer. Eileen was a loving and caring wife mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Didion; sisters Geraldine Wojczynski and Nancy Mulhall. She is survived by her husband of 60 years William; children Dan (Diane) Hickey Mary Beth (Leo) Venturini Michael (Susan) Hickey Julie (Greg) Wolf; sisters Marge Noel and Mary Rossi; sisters-in-law Bernice Johnson Jacqueline Gruss Therese Baker and Mary Jane (Lee) MacIntosh; brothers-in-law Bernard Wojczynski and John Mulhall; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 2:00 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Plymouth & Burton S.E., Rev. Troy Nevins presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Vigil service 6:00 p.m. Visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E. Memorial contributions may be made to the Killgoar Foundation.
