Elaine Mary Christensen

Elaine Mary Christensen, age 33 of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord, Sunday July 8, 2018.  Elaine was energetic, full of life, was happy and could light up a room with her warm smile.  She was very loving and empathetic and volunteered in the rescue of many types of animals.  She was a loyal friend to many and will be greatly missed.  Elaine was preceded in death by her daughter, Reagan Christensen.  She is survived by her parents Mike and Nancy Christensen; brothers, Joe and Nick Christensen; many aunts, uncles, cousins.  Visitation will be Wednesday, July 11, 5-7 PM with a service at 7 PM at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Michigan Academy School for the Dyslexic, 2428 Burton St., SE, Grand Rapids, MI  49546.
