Emily Ham, age 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home, on September 26, 2014. Emily was born on October 9, 1922 in Lithuania. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Herbert Ham, and her son, Gary Ham. She will lovingly be remembered and missed by her family, friends, and neighbors. Emily is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Ham) Linsley, Suzanne Ham; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Olga Korzeniauskas; niece, Susan (Joe) Reece; 2 nephews. Emily lived in the Grand Rapids area for most of her life. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling around our country, and the beauty of nature. Emily was always interested in reading and learning new things, including how to live a long and healthy life. A memorial service to honor Emily’s life will be held Saturday, November 22, 2:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids.
