Eric Spencer Rosengren, age 28, died peacefully in his home Thursday, March 3rd, 2022. Eric will be remembered as a kind, genuine peacemaker. He always went out of his way to help others. His family is beyond thankful for his true friends who always looked out and cared for him. Eric will forever be remembered by his love of nature, art, and music. He was a natural musician and an artist who loved life and loved bringing joy to others. Eric found the most happiness in nature. Hammocking was for certain one of his favorite pastimes that many were fortunate to share with him.
Growing up Eric enjoyed playing football and lacrosse. He loved being part of a team. Eric pursued a career in carpentry and loved working with his hands and building things. He took great pride in his work. He also had a deep love for landscaping and horticulture.
Many summer months were spent boating, fishing and visiting ports up and around the Michigan coast. Our beautiful family memories will be cherished forever. He will truly be missed.
Eric is survived by his mother, Kathleen Langan and his father, Judsen Rosengren, as well as his sister Abby and brother Daniel. He was predeceased by his grandfather Frank Rosengren and his uncle Kevin Langan.
There will be a local candlelight vigil on his birthday, Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 6pm at Lookout Park, 801 Fairview Ave. NE, Grand Rapids.
In lieu of a funeral, the family will be celebrating Eric in a Celebration of Life date to be announced in the near future.

Worked hard alongside Eric. He was a handful at times. But always enjoyed his spirit. Had fun talking about music and playing disc golf together.
