KAUFMAN Ernest William Kaufman age 80 of Lowell passed away October 2 2008. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Claudia Daverman. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Beverly; children Krista Miller Mark Kaufman and son-in-law David Miller; grandchildren Amanda Miller Brandi and Matthew Kaufman; three great-grandchildren Dawson Delany Miller and Logan Kaufman. A Memorial Service will be October 9th at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home 305 N. Hudson St., Lowell with Rev. Terry Tessari of First Congregational Church of Lowell officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan 1260 Ekhart NE Grand Rapids MI 49503. (In case anyone is wondering the welding shop is closed – fix it yourself.)
