Evelyn Mae Cooper age 87 of Ionia passed away with her family at her side March 4 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband Dan Free. She is survived by her husband Clyde; children Carol Lundquist John (Sherry) Free Larry (Veronica) Cooper Linda (Don) Cooper Marcia (Jack) VanDrie Carol Telfor Ron (Sue) Cooper Nancy (Dewey) Badder Cathy (Steve) Lowery; sisters Alice Wheat Doris Carlson MaryLou (Art) Botma Virginia (Jerry) Roberts; sister-in-law Marion Wheat; brother-in-law William Cook; many grand great and great-great grandchildren. Evelyn was a life member of the Lowell Garden Club and the Lowell Womens Club. Funeral services will be held at Roth-Gerst Chapel 305 N. Hudson Lowell. Pastor Ken Ford of Alton Bible Church officiating. Visitation will be 5-8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lowell Garden Club.
