Francis “Frank” Paul Fazzina

Francis “Frank” Paul Fazzina died on February 1, 2019, on his 90th birthday.  Frank was born in New Britain, Connecticut, the son of Salvatore and Lucy Raimond Fazzina.  He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, stationed in Japan.  Frank started his career as a draftsman at Stanley Tools in New Britain and then became an Engineering Manager with Rapistan, Inc. in New Jersey.  He ended his career as Engineering Manager at Ermanco in Spring Lake.  Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Rose Papa Fazzina; his daughter, Rebecca Fazzina Boudes (Pol) of New Jersey; his son, Francis of Los Angeles, his son, Christopher (Linda) of Wyoming, Michigan and five grandchildren.  He also leaves behind his sister, Esther Baltulonis of New Hamshire.  He was predeceased by brother, Paul and sister, Josephine Mercier.  Visitation will be Sunday, February 3 – 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 4 – 11:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2750 Burton SE, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.  Rev. Peter Damian presiding. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 129 Jeffersson SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, The American Heart Association, 2777 Franklin Rd., #1150, Southfield, MI 48034; or the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital c/o Spectrum Health Foundation, 100 Michigan, NE, Grand Rapdis, MI 49503.
