LOUGHRIN Francis Phillip Loughrin age 87 of Grand Rapids passed away Saturday April 9 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Eileen; parents James P. and Mary H. (Carey) Loughrin; brothers Joseph Eugene Myles Robert Charles Richard and Francis twin Phillip; sisters Cloris and Helen. He is survived by his daughters Mary (Phillip) Stefanski of Lakeland FL Ann (William) Milzarski of Grand Rapids; son Charles (Bonnie) Loughrin of Paw Paw; grandchildren Matthew (Alicia Belchak) Milzarski of Grand Rapids Megan (Nicholas) Myers of Caledonia Carey and Joel Stefanski of Huntsville Alabama Kathryn Loughrin of Paw Paw; 5 great-grandchildren; longtime close family friend George Stiver; many nieces and nephews. Francis was an Army Air Corp pilot during World War II (the Big One) and a pharmacist for 45 years in retail and hospital pharmacy. He was proud of his Irish/Catholic heritage and loved driving Mercedes Benz and BMWs and vacationing throughout New England with Phyllis. The family wishes to thank the caring staff of St. Anns Home for their sincere compassion during Franks final years. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered April 16 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Anns Home. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
