GEHRLICH – Frederick Joseph Gehrlich aged 88 passed away December 14 2009 He was born in Wapakoneta Ohio a son of Frederick and Emma (Sheipline) Gehrlich. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Constance; his parents and four brothers Victor Richard Raymond and Harry. He is survived by his three children Shari (Daniel) Meconis Jeffrey and Christopher (Susan) Gehrlich; four grandchildren Brett Meconis Austin Chase Julynn Gehrlich; one brother Robert; three sisters-in-law Ilene Gehrlich Lara Lee Burger Phyllis Wentz; many nieces and nephews. He was a loving father and devoted husband. Fritz was formerly the Director of National Service for Kelvinator Appliance Corp. He was a World War II veteran with the 36th Infantry Division in seven European campaigns. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 1935 Plymouth Rd. SE Rev. Troy Nevins presiding. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE and one hour prior to the service at church. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Killgoar Foundation c/o Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
