MURPHY – George Anthony Murphy aged 65 of White Cloud formerly of Grand Rapids died March 17 2008. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Murphy; brothers Jim Tom and Paul Murphy; brother-in-law Ron Tanis. He is survived by his mother Alice Murphy; brothers Joe (Char) Murphy and Fred (Maureen) Murphy; sisters Patricia Murphy and Mary Tanis; sisters-in-law Roberta Murphy and Vivien Murphy; step-son Scott Flynn; many nieces and nephews. George was a plant operator at Reith-Riley in Ada. He was a member of Operating Engineer #324 and Laborers Union #1191. Funeral services will be at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE Msgr. Ernest P. Schneider of St. Paul the Apostle Church officiating. Interment North Ensley Cemetery. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
