ADASTIK George B. Adastik age 91 of Grand Rapids passed away July 25 2011. He was preceded in death by his brothers Alex and Walter Adastik. He is survived by his wife Edna; brother John Adastik; sister Claire (Clifford) Quandt; sister-in-law Margaret Freeman; also several nieces and nephews. After graduating from Wayne State University Law School George served with the Attorney General Office of the State of Michigan for many years. He was a race car aficionad an official of the Indianapolis 500 race and member of Indianapolis 500 Old Timers Club. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church 3334 Breton S.E. Rev. Robert Horton officiating. Interment Graceland Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church or a charity of ones choice.
