George Greer, age 67 of Ada, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Catherine Greer; and granddaughter Abby Greer. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lynn; children, Matthew (Melissa), Brandon (Kelli), Emily (Scott) Conlin; sister, Kay (James) Miranda; grandchildren, Ellie and Emma Greer, Caitlyn Conlin and Ava Greer; and loving dogs Lexie and Lucy. George was born in Waterford, MI. He worked at his family pharmacy before attending Northwood University in Midland, MI. Upon graduating George began a life-long career in Insurance and spent the majority of his career with Cincinnati Insurance until retirement in 2011. More important than his career, was his family and friends. Most people would describe him as the most selfless man they knew, always putting others before himself. George lived to make his family happy and provide them a wonderful life. They spent many years vacationing on Lake Michigan and recently lived in Manistee for 7 years. He will be missed by many friends, former colleagues and his loving family. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 a.m. at St. Robert of Newminster, 6477 Ada Dr., Ada. Rev.
