GERALD “JERRY” F. SUTTER, age 84 of Cascade Township, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Barbara; children, Pamela (Keith) Woods, Conrad (Mary) Sutter, Carolyn Sutter, Daniel (Melody) Sutter, Gerald Jr. (Judy) Sutter, Monica (Britt) Hefty, Edmund (Cory) Sutter, Eric (Pauline) Chardoul-Sutter; brothers, Robert Sutter, George (Mary Lou) Sutter, William (Phoebe) Sutter, Daniel (Ardith) Sutter, Eugene (Lois) Sutter; sisters, Rosemary Hakkinen, Rita Groesbeck, Marcella (Patrick) McCabe; sister-in-law, Virginia Sutter; thirty grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Jerry worked for Quaker Oats for 40 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 54 years most recently Council #8117, and also proud to be a member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr., Ada. Rev. Leonard Sudlik presiding. Interment Cascade Township Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 5-8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:45 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert of Newminster Church.
