Grace Maryann Poisson age 88 of East Grand Rapids passed away February 20 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents Salvatore Sam Russo and Rosalia Ferrante Russo; her husband Captain Bill Poisson; brothers Jim Russo and Joe Russo; sister-in-law Charlene Apsey and son-in-law Mike Littell. She is survived by her children Annette Littell Patricia (John) OConnor William G. Jerry (Cindy) Poisson Jr., Andrew Poisson; grandchildren Sara Littell Drew and Kevin OConnor Nicholas Poisson; brothers Angelo (Theresa) Russo Tony (Jody) Russo; sisters Mary Cichon Rose (Dick) Ostrowski Loretta (Ben) Klooster; sisters-in-law Loretta Russo Rose Russo and Alice Cariano; many nieces and nephews; special friend Mary Dersch. Grace married Bill the love of her life on February 5 1949. She was a long time employee of Steketees. Grace and Bill were charter members of St. Paul the Apostle Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church 2750 Burton SE Msgr. Ernest P. Schneider presiding. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Rosary will be recited 6:00 PM. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE.
