Gwen Elaine Stokes, age 79 of Grant formerly of Grand Rapids and Walled Lake, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald. She is survived by her children, Steve (Lori Tendick) Stokes, Kenneth (Jean) Stokes, Roxanne (Loren) Bell, Sheila (Chuck Monroe) Duckering; sister; Phyllis (Terry) Weaver; grandchildren, Heather (Jeff) Hoffman, Kortney (Frank) Cox, Nicholas (Tricia) Stokes, Dr. Casey Stokes, Trisha (Danny) Wheaton, Laura (Carl) Trosien, Tracey (Floyd White) Nelson, Marcie (Michael Schofer) Nelson, Theodore Nelson; great grandchildren, Hayden, Gavin, Payton, Braylon, Logan, Caidon, Cole, Taylor, and Samantha. At Gwen’s request a private graveside service was held by her family.
