H Louis Letourneau, age 75, of Caledonia passed away unexpectedly Wednesday March 3, 2021. Lou was the best husband and grandpa ever. He inherited a full family of children and grandchildren. Lou never had children of his own so jumped head-on into family life. He was owner and president of Pension Concepts, Inc., operated an actuarial service for many years in the Grand Rapids area. He was still working part-time to the day he passed away suddenly at home. Born in “this is how we do it in Massachusetts” in Worcester to Hervey and Ann Letourneau, August 11, 1945. Lou is survived by his wife, Kathy of Caledonia, MI; sister, Linda Moses of Ft. Pierce, FL. Also, Shyle Serrels of Caledonia, MI; Ryan Keenan of Spring Lake, and David (Kathy) Monaghan of Argyle, TX. Leaving behind grandchildren, Jordan, Conner and Annamarie Monaghan of TX; Demi Serrels of Caledonia, MI, Weston Serrels of Caledonia, MI and Caleb Keenan of Spring Lake, MI. In the words of Demi, “he was the best grandpa ever”. Lou was an avid record “vinyl” collector. His collection would rival the Smithsonian, this was his passion. As per his wishes, a “gathering” at Watermark Country Club will be held when conditions allow a safe environment. Lou and Kathy traveled widely to France, Ireland, Italy, and the Baltic countries. It was a wonderful life we shared.
